The difference is that I usually drag a carolina rig across the bottom with a soft plastic worm that has a floating tail or something similar. Didn't see them picking up on it when it was nightcrawlers on a bottom feeding rig just sitting there, but it sure did work! I will e-mail you soon. thanks, man!Juanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07699220844657005728noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8464138514099071988.post-47256990766891512392013-09-25T19:31:42.834-07:002013-09-25T19:31:42.834-07:00Looks like a great time and congrats to a good sum...Looks like a great time and congrats to a good summer even if you didn't catch as many fish as you would have otherwise liked you still learned a lot and are learning a new craft of fly fishing. There is a fancy name for the slip rig you were running: Carolina Rig. Only major difference is it typically uses a plastic worm hooked texa-pose but other than that its the same principal. Also send me an email @ bryankdale@gmail.com if you are interested in those flies. No charge just send me your address. Give it some time and those fish will get used to seeing your fly patterns and your skill will be more in tune and then watch out for the fun!Melhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15787242134608887555noreply@blogger.com
