Two years ago I began my fishing adventure after taking a
few years off. Since then I have caught hundreds of fish including all the
little guys that I let go without taking a picture or anything. Unfortunately I
don’t have an exact count and so I can’t numerically compare year by year. Well
this year I will change that. I got this idea from a guy on the Fish sniffer
website. A guy had it as his signature. I think it is a great way to keep track
of all of the fish I catch and compare it year by year. As of right now I have
yet to go fishing and therefore haven’t caught any fish. I plan to fill these
numbers up soon!
Carp = 00
Pan Fish = 00
Catfish = 00
LMB = 00
SMB = 00
Trout = 00
Striper = 00
Striper = 00
Steelhead= 00
Salmon = 00
Sturgeon = 00

ReplyDeleteWhat a cool way to keep a total of all the species of fish you will land in the coming year. Thanks for sharing
Hey Bill, Thanks for reading along. hopefully i will be able to at least put a 1 down in each of those categories. i haven't even been out fishing once this year so far. If I keep at that rate, i might not! haha
DeleteHey Juan. I keep this thing I call the "Fish to cost of license ratio" Excel spreadsheet. It started out as just that. What a fish cost compared to what the license cost and after a 150 or so, the cost per fish is about 35 cents, but it has morphed into a journal of sorts with when, where, how many caught, and with what. If you're interested, shoot me an email and I'll send you a copy.

DeleteThat is a really great idea. This is the first time I have visited your blog but I will be sure to check back often. I am excited to see what you catch this year.
